Prince Henrik Carl Joachim Alain, grandson of Queen Margrethe II, was christened in Møgeltønder Kirke today. Bishop Erik Norman Svendsen presided over the ceremony. Afterwards, a private reception was held at Schackenborg Castle. The little prince was dressed in a cotton and silk christening gown from Henrik Hviid, H.H. Design. The baptismal font and christening set was designed by 17th century goldsmiths and used in christening services for Danish Royal Children since 1671.
The church was decorated with Danish summer blooms and French lavender.
