Queen Rania Tours Children's Museum

On April 18th, Queen Rania toured the new Children's Museum Jordan located at Al Hussein Park. Rania is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees to the museum. To enrich her visit, Rania donned a plastic apron at one of the activities called 'Name Your Color' and proceeded to create her own shade.

The museum houses over 150 exhibits to create "interactive learning experiences that have the power to encourage and nurture lifelong learning for children and their families." Jordan's first interactive childen museum incorporates three primary themes: humankind, technology and the natural world.

Queen Rania is determined to acknowledge programs that will further enhance the learning abilities of Jordan's children, and said, "educating our children is not just about imposing a body of knowledge on them. Rather, it involves preparing children from the early years for the world in which they will come of age. It means instilling a love for lifelong learning, creativity, self-expression and an appreciation for diversity."

The Children's Museum officially opens May 23rd.
