As the Dutch Royal Family prepared for Ariane’s christening this month, Princess Máxima of the Netherlands opened an exhibition of paintings at the Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn on October 5th. The exhibits featured portraits of royal children from the 16th century to the present. Two paintings that brought a delighted smile to Máxima’s face were of her daughters, Princess Amalia and Princess Alexia.
The following Wednesday, Princess Máxima was present at the “Music Matters” event at Afrikaanderpark in Rotterdam. The initiative encourages the development of musical talent through introduction to musical instruments.
And, finally, on October 11th, Princess Máxima interacted with students at the Heineken Music Hall for FunX debates.
