The Prince of Asturias arrived in Panama yesterday to participate in the opening of the Logistic Humanitarian Center of the Spanish Cooperation in Latin America. The Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID) incorporated logistics to help solve the emergency crisis situation by sending aid and lessen response time to disasters.
Supplies and equipment will be meted out according to the needs of the center and will include such materials as tarps, tents, water purifiers, hygiene kits and jerry cans.
