The President of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, was greeted by King Abdullah II of Jordan at the King Al Hussein airport on Jan 4th. The French president has been visiting Jordan for the last two days. Amongst the talk of bilateral relations, the Jordanian monarch briefed the French president on the Palestinian and Israeli issue. He also thanked Sarkozy for his country’s unequivocal support in buying back Paris Club debt and assistance in developing a nuclear energy program.
