Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan addressed the Eleventh World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery in Yokohama, Japan on September 2nd. He related his experience with endoscopic treatment to the conference attendees and said, “I myself underwent endoscopic treatment last year to have a polyp removed from my duodenum, and thus from a patient’s point of view, I can attest to the amazing advances that have been made in endoscopic surgery.”
