Prince Carlos de Bourbon de Parme wedded Annemarie Gualthérie van Weezel in a religious ceremony yesterday at the Ter Kameren Abdij in Brussels, Belgium. The civil marriage had taken place on June 12th in Wijk bij Duurstede, the Netherlands. Carlos is the eldest son of Princess Irene of the Netherlands and the late Prince Carlos Hugo de Bourbon de Parme.

Eldest Son of Princess Irene to Marry
Prince Carlos Javier Bernardo, eldest son of Princess Irene of the Netherlands and Prince Carlos Hugo de Bourbon de Parme, has announced his engagement to NOS journalist Annemarie Gualthérie van Weezel. She is the daughter of Johan Stephan Leonard (Hans) Gualthérie van Weezel, a former Dutch politician and ambassador. The wedding is planned for 2010.

Princess Margarita Gives Birth to Her First Child
Princess Margarita de Bourbon de Parme and Tjalling ten Cate welcomed their first child on Wednesday. The baby girl was named Julia Catherine Carolina and weighed 3325 grams (7.33lbs). She is the second grandchild for Princess Irene; her eldest son, Prince Carlos, has an illegitimate child from a former girlfriend.

Princess Margarita Ties the Knot a Second Time
Princess Margarita de Bourbon de Parma, daughter of Princess Irene of the Netherlands and Prince Carlos Hugo de Bourbon de Parma, married Tjalling ten Cate in a private ceremony this weekend. She is expecting her first child in August. She previously was embroiled in controversy regarding her first husband which divided her from the Dutch Royal Family. She dissolved her five year marriage in November 2006.
