LATEST NEWS: Catherine Gives Birth To A Prince

The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a prince at 4:24 pm (local time).  The boy weighed 8lbs and 6oz. Catherine will remain at St. Mary’s Hospital overnight.

The prince is the third great-grandchild for Queen Elizabeth II.

The royal birth is imminent! Clarence House tweeted the news and the Prince of Wales website released a statement this morning.

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour.

The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.
