After lambasting the bomb attack in Karachi against Benazir Bhutto two months ago, King Abdullah II of Jordan “strongly condemned the criminal attack” in a press release when he received the news that she had been assassinated after speaking at a campaign rally in Rawalpindi, Pakistan on Thursday. In his statement, the king “expressed his deepest condolences and sympathies to Bhutto's family, the families of Pakistani individuals who were killed in the attack and the Pakistani president and people.”
