Princess Máxima of the Netherlands was given the honour to open Jumbo’s new toy factory in Medemblik, West Friesland on October 17th. One of the oldest toy manufacturers in the world, the company was established in 1853. Máxima toured the factory and applied her royal touch to some of the proceedings by helping out with product assembly. Before the princess left, she was given a puzzle that had been created with her image imposed upon the cardboard.
