In the ongoing effort to establish a lasting peace in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert conferred with King Abdullah II of Jordan in Aqaba on bilateral and regional issues which included international resolutions and agreements that were discussed in Annapolis last November. The king ingeminated his desire to keep the peace process from falling back into a quandary and Prime Minister Olmert reaffirmed his willingness for negotiations to resolve the lengthy conflict.
