On April 27th, Prince William flew to Afghanistan on a RAF C17 aircraft which he piloted under supervision for a short period in route to Kandahar Air Base. The reason for the military exercise was to give the prince an opportunity to observe deployed operations in the Middle East. His short trip rounded off in Al Udeid, Qatar before he returned back to RAF Brize Norton on April 28th.In June, Prince William will begin training with the Royal Navy which will last for two months.
