The Sun is reporting that the Countess of Wessex brought in her 5-week-old son, James, to the Great Ormond Street hospital yesterday afternoon for an emergency consultation and to undergo some tests. The Buckingham Palace press office refused to comment on the situation, regarding it as “a private matter.” Anxious for her son, Sophie remained at the hospital all night. This morning, James will be subjected to “further tests.”

Viscount Severn Given the Name James
The Earl and Countess of Wessex have settled on a name for their son, Viscount Severn. His four names are James Alexander Philip Theo.

His grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II, The Duke of Edinburgh and Christopher Rhys-Jones have expressed their satisfaction with the chosen names of Viscount Severn.
