Prince Edward Attends Beijing Paralympic Games

Whilst Princess Anne is a member of the International Olympic Committee, her younger brother, Prince Edward, is a patron of the British Paralympic Association; a post he has held since November 2003. In his capacity as BPA’s patron, he travelled to the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games last week. Before leaving China, the Earl of Wessex will attend the British Paralympic Association Twenty Twelve Reception which will be hosted at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Beijing tomorrow.

Royal College of Nursing Gives Insignia to Princess Muna

Princess Muna of Jordan was given the title of Honourary Vice-President this week by the Royal College of Nursing for her dedication to the field of nursing. Since 2003, Princess Muna has been the World Health Organization Patron for Nursing and Midwifery in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
