Prince Kardam Still in a Coma

Prince Kardam was released from the hospital on Saturday after sustaining critical injuries from an automobile accident on August 15th. He remains in a coma and his hands are still unresponsive to treatment.

Before he was released, Princess Miriam, who sustained moderate injuries in the wreck, was permitted to visit him on Thursday.

Princess Miriam Granted Hospital Visit

Princess Miriam was permitted a visitation this week to Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre where her husband, Prince Kardam, is recuperating from a devastating automobile accident last month. He remains in a coma. She suffered moderate injuries in the wreck and was released from Hospital Universitario La Paz a couple of weeks ago.

Prince Konstantin Updates Prince Kardam’s Condition After Devastating Auto Accident

Prince Kardam’s brother, Prince Konstantin, released the latest information on his brother’s condition to the Spanish media yesterday. Kardam remains in critical condition at a Madrid hospital after a devastating automobile accident last month. According to Konstantin, his brother lost two fingers in the wreck besides sustaining devastating injuries to his head and hands. Kardam’s wife, Princess Miriam, was in the vehicle when the accident occurred. She suffered moderate injuries and was released from Hospital Universitario La Paz last week.

Princess Miriam was released from Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid this week after treatment for moderate injuries which she received in an automobile accident on August 15th. Her husband, Prince Kardam, remains in critical condition at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid. He sustained devastating injuries to his head and hands. He was the driver of the vehicle when the incident occurred.

Prince Kardam Suffers Traumatic Injuries from Automobile Wreck

Prince Kardam, eldest son of King Simeon II, suffered traumatic injuries when his Jaguar careened off the road and smashed into a tree yesterday afternoon. The vehicle upon impact with the tree overturned landing on its roof. The accident happened on the N-1 expressway outside of Madrid.

His wife, Princess Miriam, was in the vehicle when the accident occurred and sustained moderate injuries including a broken elbow and bruises. She is being treated at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid. Prince Kardam was not as fortunate. His injuries were far more devastating. He was taken to the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid for treatment of head and hand injuries. He remains in critical condition.
